Resumé

Rob Crouch is an experienced actor and writer, born, bred and based in London.

Film and TV work includes Galavant (as Ricky Gervais’s mute sidekick, Toad) and the forthcoming Netflicks parody Purge of Thrones as the monosyllabic Hodog. He also speaks and has recently appeared in Lovesick (Netflix), Wasted (E4) and the Chinese remake of My Best Friend’s Wedding.

On stage, Rob has played Carl Denham in King Kong, Dr Gonzo (Hunter S Thompson’s drug-crazed attorney) in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and the titular hellrasier in Oliver Reed: Wild Thing. The latter toured Britain and Ireland, and enjoyed sold-out runs at The Brewery Theatre, Bristol; St James Studio, London and The Ambassadors Theatre in the West End. The show was nominated for the Whatsonstage awards best solo and the Off West End award for best male performance.

Prior to this, as part of sketch double-act Clarkson and Crouch, Rob was co-purveyor of various twisted urban fairy tales – giving comic life to men, women, foxes, aliens and a bear.
