John-Luke Roberts brings his one man show ‘STDAD-UP’ to the Soho Theatre after taking Edinburgh by storm last year from 4th April for a limited time.

John-Luke spent the Edinburgh Fringe last year dressing up as his dead father and performing one of the strangest, funniest and most emotionally exhausting shows in town. He’s decided to do it again, because nobody’s stopped him.

One of the most talked about shows of the 2015 Fringe, this is an idiotic comedy show about having and then not having a father, and how stupid you need to make yourself look to get away with speaking ill of the dead.

Here are some of the reviews from last year:

‘A raw, fearless, boundary-pushing hour of introspective clowning and provocative anti-comedy.’
★★★★ Time Out

‘At once elusive and rawly honest, it sees him test the limits of our sympathy, while blurring the line between fact and fiction.’
★★★★ Fest

‘Intelligent, precise and deadly funny.’
★★★★ Chortle

‘Robert stretches the boundaries of the form with a childlike glee.’
