The brilliant Jemma Forte is hosting the the irreverent, inquisitive and unpredictable ‘Not The One Show’ for one week from 15th Sept at 7pm on London Live.
Jemma Forte is a London based writer, presenter and actress who began her presenting career at the Disney Channel.
She stayed for five years, clocking up hours of live studio experience and interviewing everyone from Britney Spears and Beyoncé to David Beckham. After she had left as an in vision presenter, she was asked to voice all their continuity links for another two years.
She went on to present three series of ‘Sub Zero’ on BBC2. Then came ‘It’s a Girl Thing’ for Channel Four. This was a scripted drama and Jemma’s first real taste of a big acting job. Jemma narrated the entire series.
Jemma is also a novelist and her first book, Me and Miss M, was snapped up by Penguin in 2009. It won rave reviews in the British press before going on to be translated into six other languages.
Her second, ‘From London with Love’ was published in 2011 and her latest, ‘If You’re Not the One’, is out now. The film rights have been bought by Working Title Films.
