Assa Kanouté is back for the second season of BBC comedy-drama ‘Boarders’
The scholarship students of St Gilberts are back for the second season of ‘Boarders’, the hit comedy drama that sees five black teenagers swap their inner-city education for an elite boarding school.
After surviving one term at the prestigious school, Jaheim, Leah, Toby, Femi and Omar are all back with fresh challenges awaiting them.
Season 2 sees a new era for the school, with headmaster Bernard – who had brought the scholarship students into the school – suspended following a school rebellion. Now acting headmistress Carol Watlington-Geese (who also happens to be the mother of Jaheim’s nemesis, Rupert) is at the helm – and she wants them gone.
Carol raises the stakes for our five when she announces she’s stripping away two of their scholarships. Jaheim must deliver at school, but there’s trouble at home and a ‘situationship’ with Beatrix to deal with. Omar is distracted by secrets, Leah is hyped when she meets new girl Devonyé – but Femi is panicking. Can Toby help him or will Abby steal his attention?
Don’t miss L&C’s mega talented Assa Kanouté as Abby in ‘Boarders’ available now on BBC3 and BBC iPlayer.
