A woman discovers a blonde hair on her husband’s scarf and after a long and painful series of events discovers evidence that he’s cheating on her with a 22-year-old with more abs than morals, and more than that her friends don’t just know but have actively helped him cover it up – it doesn’t exactly strike you as a groundbreaking concept for a drama , but it is.
Doctor Foster has quickly the become new watercooler drama from the BBC that, in a world where gimmicks have replaced good story lines, just shouldn’t work, but it does and it is outstanding.
