Anneika Rose is a Glaswegian actor with Sri Lankan heritage based in London.
She holds both UK and Irish citizenship.
Upon graduation from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a BA in Acting, Anneika began her stage career at the Royal Shakespeare Company playing Juliet in 'Romeo and Juliet'.
Since then, she has worked extensively in theatre. Credits include 'John' (National Theatre), 'Dara' (National Theatre), 'Behind the Beautiful Forevers' (National Theatre), 'Nell Gwynn' (Globe/ Apollo Theatre), 'Richard II' (Globe Theatre), 'The Tempest' (RSC) and 'The Empress' (RSC).
Anneika is also a familiar face on TV, appearing in shows such as 'Line of Duty' (BBC), 'Department Q' (Netflix), 'Fear' (Amazon), 'Best Interests' (BBC), 'Guilt' (BBC), 'Shetland' (BBC), 'Silent Witness' (BBC), 'Payback' (ITV), 'Crossfire' (ITV), 'The Midwich Cuckoos' (Sky), 'Ackley Bridge' (Channel 4) and 'Electric Dreams: The Hoodmaker' (Amazon).
Anneika was a regular on 'The Archers' for years, and other radio work includes 'The Pallisers', 'Anna Karenina', 'A Vindication of Frankensteins Monster', 'That Hideous Strength', 'Brick Lane', 'Midnights Children', 'A Close Approximation of You', 'Tommies' and 'Queens of Noise', among many others.
Anneika can be seen in the returning BBC show 'Marble Hall Murders' written by Anthony Horowitz and heard in the upcoming radio drama 'Candour', both premiering later this year.
