Susy Kane


Susy Kane is London based actress and comedy performer.

She is well-known to Radio 4 listeners as Pippa in the much loved and award winning radio series Bleak Expectations, Andree Melly in the acclaimed Missing Hancocks, as a regular on Newsjack  and 5Live Sport’s 7 Day Saturday, and stars with Peter Serafinowicz in Helen Keen’s two award winning radio series It Is Rocket Science and Big Problems, both for Radio 4.

On TV Susy has appeared and guest-starred in numerous critically acclaimed shows and worked alongside some of the greatest names in comedy and drama in both the UK and USA. 

Her appearances include The IT Crowd, The Thick of It, Saxondale, A Touch of Cloth, Gavin and Stacey, The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret, A Young Doctor’s Notebook, White Van Man, The Bleak Old Shop of Stuff, Misfits, TV drama Hattie and Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant’s Emmy nominated Extras Christmas Special. Recently she starred as the villainous Miss Denby in Nickelodeon’s hit show House of Anubis, as Marc Maron’s manager Emily in IFC’s Maron, and guest-starred in BBC One’s Endeavour and George Gently. Later in 2015 she can be seen in the much anticipated British comedy feature film Bill.

An accomplished musician, she has been a regular on the live music circuit, performing as a singer, pianist and violinist since her teens. She has recorded on a number of albums including playing gypsy fiddle for Charlotte Church’s Tissues for Issues.
